
Kate Olko, FNP-BC
Kate Olko is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a strong background in functional medicine. She graduated from Brown University with a degree in psychology before attending Columbia University to pursue a nursing degree. She has a passion for anti-aging medicine and has spent the last decade specializing in hormone replacement therapy and obesity medicine in San Antonio, TX. She believes in the importance of hormone optimization to provide symptomatic relief and long-term health benefits.
In San Antonio, she developed and implemented a GLP-1 diet program to help her patients achieve their health and weight-loss goals sustainably. Her approach is founded in evidence-based medicine and is used to treat a range of conditions, some of which include menopause/andropause, a variety of inflammatory conditions, leaky gut syndrome, hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, autoimmune conditions, and weight management. It is her goal to provide her patients with an individualized health plan based on whole body systems to help meet each person’s specific needs. She believes healthcare is a partnership and looks forward to guiding her patients to better overall health and well-being.
